About Dr Jo McGettigan
I completed my medical degree at Aberdeen University in 1987. I am a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) with additional qualifications in woman’s health (DRCOG), dermatology (DPD), palliative medicine (Dip Pal Med) and certified with BASICS for prehospital emergency care.
Having completed GP training in rural Lincolnshire, I gained additional experience in medicine, paediatrics, dermatology and palliative medicine before becoming a GP partner and GP trainer in Bo’ness. Since retiring from GP partnership in 2023, I have been enjoying working as a GP locum.
